Shipping policy
Each order placed with Mane Transformations LLC is considered a custom order and therefore processing and shipping time frames differ based on the specific hair collection and product. All orders are processed in the order they are received. We do NOT advise that you wait until the last minute to place your order.
If you have an event, hair appointment, and/or deadline, it is advised that your order be placed far enough in advance to account for our processing and shipping time frames, as well as delivery time and possible delays by the shipping vendors. Each collection/product has its own processing time which can be found in the description of each item.
Please note: processing time is separate and apart from the delivery time of the carrier.
THE FULFILLMENT PROCESS
- Place your “Mane” products in cart.
- Confirm you have read and agreed with all “Mane Terms & Conditions and Policies”.
- Checkout to pay for your order – billing name and address must match the name and address of the order placed.
- Check your email inbox for an order confirmation email.
- The “Processing Period” begins. Processing time is 3-5 business day. Business days exclude weekends and holidays. Processing period is extended 1-5 business days during a sale period.
- After the processing period is over, your order will be created and fulfilled.
- Creation and Fulfillment time frames differ based on the specific Mane Collection and/or product. Shipping process is separate from creation and fulfillment time frames (see time frames below).
- You will receive an order fulfillment email. Your tracking number will be inside this email.
- Your package is shipped off via USPS Mail or UPS.
- Ready to Ship Mane: Wigs are available on hand, usually takes 5 - 8 business days or less to process.
- Custom Wigs | Mane Your Way (B.Y.O.B): This service allows you up to 7 days to ship your own hair to create a custom Mane Your Way. Fulfillment takes approximately 10 - 15 business days. Your custom wig will NOT go into production until balance is paid in full and deposits are non-refundable. Please Note: If reconstruction service is needed, this may take from 7-21 business days.
- Mane Collections: Custom and Pre-made wigs, usually takes 7-21 business days to process before shipping.
- Customization Request: If you request additional customization to any products including but not limited to, “Ready to Ship” Wigs, Mane Collections, or Custom Wigs, fulfillment takes an additional 7 business days.
- All Other Products: Unless otherwise specified, processing takes approximately 2-4 business days.
PROCESSING PERIOD
This is the time it takes to receive hair/product from our vendors and conduct quality control. This time period allows us to test all hair to make it meets our quality standards. Once your order has been processed, you will receive your tracking number via the email provided during checkout. Please wait at least five business days after your order has been processed and make sure to check your junk/spam folder before contacting us.
The processing period may vary depending on product choice. Processing time may be delayed if your shipping address is questionable and or order is flagged as a risk. We use this additional time to help ensure the security of your payment information. We may require proof of identification for the billing information received.
SHIPPING PROCESS
Once your order is placed, there is a mandatory 24-72 hour processing period, up to 3 full business days. This time frame does not count towards your business days for shipping and tracking. Business days are not weekends or holidays.
Following the processing of your order, you will receive an email notification of these details, followed by your tracking details for shipments. Once you receive your tracking number, it may take a few hours to update into the USPS system. It is solely the responsibility of the buyer to keep track of their order as it is no longer under the care of Mane Transformations.
Shipping takes additional 1-3 business days depending on your location. In total, shipping takes 5-10 business days. Most times our items ship out extremely fast, but please keep in mind they can take up to 5-10 business days after your processing period.
All custom orders require a signature upon delivery. No signatures can be waived on a package. If you are not available at the time of delivery, your package will be held at your local post office for pick-up for up to two weeks time before being returned to sender.
SHIPPING TIME (U.S. Only)
Shipping time occurs after the processing period has finished. The shipping time does not include the processing period. Expect delays during sales periods & holidays.
- USPS Priority Mail - 2 to 7 business days
- USPS First Class Mail - 2 to 5 business days flat rate shipping
- We will only ship to P.O. Boxes registered at the USPS. However, expedited shipping is not available to P.O. Boxes.
If an order is placed on a national holiday or after 4p.m. EST on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, it will be shipped the following business day after the processing period. If you need your order expedited, please email: info@manetransformations.com before placing an order to see if we are able to meet your expected date of delivery. We will not be held responsible if you did not reach out to us to confirm if we are able to meet your expected date of delivery outside of the normal processing and shipping rules. Once your order has shipped, you will be emailed a tracking number via the email address used on your billing profile.
Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you refuse any shipments from Mane Transformations, you will be held responsible for the original shipping charges, plus the cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be deducted from any credit issued.
Due to Covid-19 processing and shipping times may be affected. Also, please expect delays during sales & holiday periods.
BUSINESS DAYS
Business days exclude weekends and holidays. Processing period is extended for Wigs. Processing period is extended 1-5 business days during a sales period.
INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS
Due to recent scams, unethical practices, and chargeback’s, we as a company will only ship to the billing address. If the shipping address differs from billing address the order will be cancelled. NO EXCEPTIONS.
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the correct shipping information at the time an order is placed. The customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs incurred, as a result, of a bad address provided by the customer.
Please be advised that delays can happen which is beyond our control. Under certain circumstances shipping can take longer. We do not control the shipping carriers’ schedule. We cannot change any addresses after the order has been placed. Be sure to check your address before confirming the order. If your address is incorrect, your order will be cancelled.
FAILED DELIVERIES, REFUSED SHIPMENTS
No refunds will be issued for failed deliveries or refused shipments, no exceptions. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the correct shipping information at the time an order is placed.
To ensure that your package is properly delivered and you receive shipment within the time frame we advertise, please make sure your address is fully entered and correct. Use correct abbreviations and have spaces inserted properly, we do not take responsibility for the incorrect information. If the package is returned non-deliverable we will issue a store credit for the net price of your item(s) minus the shipping charge.
If your tracking information states that your package was delivered and you have not received it. You must contact the delivery carrier (either the United States Postal Service or FedEx – depending on the shipping method selected) and address the issue directly with them. Mane Transformations does not hold or accept responsibility for packages that have been stated as delivered by the carrier. We do not issue refunds or credits for packages that the carrier confirms as being delivered.
POLICY CHANGES
Mane Transformations LLC reserves the right to revise the terms, pricing, and procedure, at any time and at our complete and full discretion.
PRICE ADJUSTMENTS
Price adjustments will not be made, once an order has been placed. The pricing reflected at the time of checkout is considered final and will NOT be adjusted. Any and all promotional pricing will ONLY be valid during the time period allotted by Mane Transformations. There will be NO exceptions.
PAYMENT PROCESSING
Using credit or debit cards please make sure both name and address match with the card to avoid cancellation. This is to ensure both your safety and ours. PayPal name and address should match the order's shipping name and address to avoid possible cancelation of your order.
ROUTE PACKAGING PROTECTION POLICY
Route is a third party insurance policy company added to Mane Transformations website to give customers the option to protect their packages during transit. The decision to choose Route to insure packages is solely the responsibility of the customer. Mane Transformations is therefore not responsible for claims in connection with packages lost, stolen or damaged.
